Anom’s journey in bridal, makeup & skincare began in 1991 when she was only 19 years old.
Her passion in this industry was due to her interest in seeing brides looking beautiful on
their wedding day, empowering them to care for their physical wellness and well-being
before they embark on their next phase of their lives, building a new family. In the year ,
1993, Anom embarked on her own home-based business as an entrepreneur. For 8 years,
the business ran and it was only until the year 2002, when she decided to expand her
horizon and continue the legacy of her late grandmother and mother as a Professional Body
Massage Theraphist. She garnered her experience from working with various Spa
Companies such as Cleopatra, Indonesian Herbal Massage Spa & Spa Dejava.
Throughout the years when she was a theraphist with these various companies, she took
courses that are offered in-house by them and realised that she needs to upgrade her
knowledge and skills to compete with various competition within the industry. She was then
sponsored by her last company, Mr & Mrs Therapy, to upgrade her skills through these 2
WSQ Diploma courses, Diploma in Anatomy Physiotheraphy & Diploma in Body Massage.
After positive encouragement from Anom’s husband, in the year 2012, she decided to start
her own company and that was how De Beauty Spa Bridal & Wellness Pte Ltd started. Some
of the challenges that Anom faced was to find a reliable & trustworthy theraphist as most of
their commitment and loyalty towards the company was not up to her expectation.
However, her passion did not stop her from leaving the industry. As she is a massage
theraphist herself, she understands the quality and the skills needed to be a good
theraphist. De Beauty Spa has now been established for 12 years since the year 2012.
